Great pics of the comic fair, it looks fab! And fab pics of the Gar Fish too 👌

Personally I'm a big fan of the word Aquifer - it just sounds so... refreshing.

Thanks Joe - and yes it's a lovely word isn't it! Makes one feel all aquifer!

I once had a pet Alligator Gar. I called it 'Teri'.

In this day and age of rampant hate and intolerance it’s always refreshing and soothing to find a humorous oasis such as yours.

Please do try to visit that orogenous zone in person at least the part in old Havana. We did years ago and found the people to be helpful and friendly. There was live music being played at every little restaurant out on their plaza. We felt very safe as there were kalsnikov armed soldiers also everywhere but they paid no attention to us tourista gringos. The old architecture is wonderful as are the 1950’s cars. You would not see that orogenous zone unless you venture into the jungle. Avoid that.

Regards, a long lost relative?

I would love to go one day! But I would DEFO want to see the jungle too, and all those animals - perhaps in some safe manner. James is a family name of ours too!!

Speaking of smoking…Can fish use nicotine patches too?

Hmmm good question - will the patches adhere to their scales, that would be the problem!!
