It has been a busy week and I needed some time to allow your answer to percolate. Whilst I appreciate the intellectual integrity of your response- and indeed what else could I expect if I pose such a question to a philosopher- I have some follow up concerns. As Freud points out, unrestrained id is ruinous to every other aspect of being (and remaining) alive. How do I keep the bad dog out of danger if I allow her to exercise the full range of her bad plans?
