Inktober

First week down

For the first time this year I’ve managed (so far) to participate in Inktober. This is an Instagram challenge which has been going since 2009, in which participants post an ink drawing every day of October. I decided to use this time to revisit a scary alphabet I’ve been fomenting (gross!) since last year.

Here are my first seven days’ worth - I’m in all the drawings as it seemed like it would be fun to have myself responding to all manner of grotesqueries. And it SORT OF is.

I can feel I’m already running low on ideas for how I interact with the scary things, so maybe it wasn’t such a bright idea - but there are 19 more to go, and dash it, I’m doing them!! See you in a week!
