What a treat! I love hearing other people's dreams, and mine are equally mad but I seldom remember them well enough to recount them let alone make a comic. Though I really must try some time!
Oh my God Tor I adore your dreams and feel a great affinity with them, I am super sweary and angry in my dreams. They must play a rule for us polite brits?! I can totally relate to this. It’s brilliant.
Thank you Ruby! Yes I can honestly still remember the satisfaction of swearing at this couple in my dream - as you say, must be a catharsis to do in dreams what I'd never do in real life! x
I won a couple of awards for a book I did with them a few years ago and still didn't get an invite. I related completely last time I saw this... still do a wee bit!
Dreams can be so frustrating. Just last night I had a dream where my sister and I were on the way to some event and needed to use the stairs. As I was walking up I must have slipped as I almost fell over the railing. She asked if I was OK. I felt fine although a bit shaky. It was then that I felt my pockets and I found my wallet and keys missing.
Frantically I walked down to where I was momentarily suspended and found the wallet but no sign of the keys. She reassured me that at least the important part of my identity was still in my possession. But I persisted in trying to find the keys through all of the people walking up with us.
That sounds extremely frustrating! Dropping things is a dream I have sometimes too! I remember trying to hold onto a greasy baby once which kept dropping through slats in a house, racing down to retrieve it and going back upstairs, only to keep repeating the process - I decided it was fear of responsibility, but who knows!
Ha ha! I've had 2 books out with Harpers this year & I didn't get invited either! x
Those losers!! Their loss, right!!! 😂x
