Uncle Junior, and other total nonsense
I follow an account on Instagram where the writer makes funny posts about her three rescue dogs, one of whom she’s nicknamed Baby Grandpa.
It’s such a good name - like Uncle Junior from The Sopranos. I’ve been trying to think of some more… Baron Cousin, Nephew Dad, Professor Mother?? How would they be described - a blend of two honorifics or familial titles? Anyway, a human Baby Grandpa seemed like a good character to draw - see him here trying to self-actualise.
My secret is that I felt a calling to draw this little guy because I myself was a Baby Grandpa. Please hark at photographic evidence ~here~ — — — —>
I think it’s a wheel of life thing, we end up as we started, albeit transformed a little. I was a BG too (with a touch of turtle 🐢 ). And yes, you were a gorgeous BG 😍
